WWE Tables, Ladders, & Chairs 2012 Predictions and Preview

WWE is presenting their final PPV of the year, Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. This year’s edition will emanate from the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York this Sunday, December 16, 2012. This PPV has had terrible buildup. I nearly forgot about it. The fact that CM Punk is out of the PPV due to knee surgery really hurts the PPV.

Looking at the card, I am sorry, but the Hardys, Edge and Christian, and the Dudleys are not going to walk through that door. Trust me. I wish they could. This is a terrible card. Period. However, I will do my best trying to predict who will win each match.

The Youtube Match: Santa’s Little Helpers Battle Royal to Determine the #1 Contender for the Diva’s Title: Alicia Fox vs Kaitlyn vs Layla vs Natalya vs Rosa Mendes vs Cameron vs Naomi vs Tamina Snuka vs Aksana

I am so glad that this is on the Youtube site. I don’t see a five star match out of this bunch. I would like to see Natalya win it. Like the recently retired Beth Phoenix, Natalya is an awesome wrestler in the ring, but the company hardly uses her to her best talent and potential. I could care less who wins.

Prediction: I am going to guess and say Tamina wins. It seems like she is getting some sort of push.

WWE Intercontinental Title Championship: Kofi Kingston (C) vs Wade Barrett

This should be a very good match. Kingston’s high flying style meshes well with Barrett’s fighter style. I have enjoyed their bouts on Raw and Smackdown. It is good to have Barrett back. I liked him right from the start when he was with the Nexus. I also like Kingston quite a bit as well.

Prediction: I would not be surprised if they have a title change here, so I am saying Barrett becomes the new Intercontinental Champion.

Ladder Match for the Money in the Bank Briefcase: John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler

This is ridiculous. I love Ziggler. I do not understand why they are having the fans even thinking that Cena could take the briefcase. Ziggler is the best worker in the company right now. He could even sell the idea that Tim Tebow is a great QB. That is how awesome he is.

I really think Ziggler needs the win as WWE needs to build up new stars. Let’s face it. Rey may not last that much longer. Orton is reportedly hurt again. Cena is banged up. Punk just had knee surgery. Taker is on a one PPV a year basis, and is in very bad shape himself. Hunter is semi-retired, and is now part of WWE’s corporate structure. It just would be wrong for Cena to win.

Prediction: I predict that Ziggler finds a way to win.

United States Championship: Antonio Cesaro vs R-Truth

I have no interest in this match. I do not like Truth. He does nothing for me. I like Cesaro even less. I have no interest in Cesaro’s ability to speak five languages, and all. This match will be passable.

Prediction: Cesaro retains his championship.

Tag Team Tables Match to become the #1 Contender for the Tag Team Champion: Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes)

This match should be a good match. Rey and Sin Cara have their high flying act. Hopefully, Sin Cara doesn’t botch too much. I absolutely love Rhodes Scholars, especially Sandow. I admit that I didn’t see much in him at first, but something clicked, and now I just love the man. He is so great with his wrestling and his promos. I am not a huge Cody fan yet. I like him, but I just think he is OK. He and Sandow do make a good team though.

Prediction: Team Rhodes Scholars win. You’re welcome.

Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match, decided by pinfall or submission: Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) and Ryback vs The Shield (Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and
Roman Reigns)

This match replaces the WWE Championship TLC match we were supposed to get before CM Punk’s unfortunate surgery. Wow. A TLC match decided by a pinfall or submission. I don’t know what to say. I bet Edge, one of the masters of this brutal match, is at his home in North Carolina laughing. I am laughing as I write this. The winner of a USUAL TLC match is climbing the ladder, and grabbing an object, be it a belt or briefcase, etc. I know there are unusual circumstances, but this is just humorous to me.

This should be a decent match. Bryan better bring his carrying shoes. Kane can put on a good show too as well. I am interested in seeing what the Shield can do in the ring, besides run in and attack people. I already know what Ryback can do, and it is not much.

Prediction: I suspect there will be some sort of screwy finish in the match. I think since they are getting such a huge push, the Shield will wind up victorious.

Chairs Match for the World Title: The Big Show (C) vs Sheamus

This feud has bored me silly. The Big Show has bored me as a champion. I still don’t know why he was made champion. His days as a top star are over. Anyway, I just hope this title reign ends on Sunday.

Prediction: Sheamus will knock out Big Show, and get the World Title back.

Well, I hope everyone enjoys the PPV.
