WWE Survivor Series Preview and Predictions

WWE Survivor Series 2009Once again, World Wrestling Entertainment’s Survivor Series is here! A normal pay-per-view, I don’t know if I would really like this pay-per-view, because this pay-per-view only has one singles match. But at least the two world titles are up on the line and there are three traditional Survivor Series matches. To be honest, I won’t go into the three traditional Survivor Series because the only big match out of the two is the Team Orton versus Team Kofi, and we all know that Orton’s team will go over Kofi’s team. But here are the main three matches that I will give my predictions for…

Triple Threat World Heavyweight Championship Match:
The Undertaker (Champion) versus Chris Jericho (1/2 of Unified Tag Champs) versus the Big Show (1/2 of the Unified Tag Champs)

A match that I am looking forward to, not the wrestling of the match (or maybe the lack of, depending on who you talk to); I am excited to see how this match will end. The Undertaker and Big Show had a feud last year and we saw a Jericho/Undertaker match the other week on Smackdown. And I would, as made obvious on previous article for CamelClutchBlog.com and if you’ve heard me on Pro Wrestling Radio before, I am pulling for Chris Jericho to regain the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series.

But if anyone that could bring out a great match out of the Undertaker these days is Chris Jericho. And through in the Big Show, this could bring the destruction of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Jeri-Show.

Prediction: The Undertaker, walking out with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Triple Threat WWE Championship Match:
John Cena (Champion) versus Triple H versus Shawn Michaels

The match that I’m torn between; I don’t know how this match will turn out, either being a crappy match or a show-stealing match. I can see DX team up against Cena for most of the match and then turn on each other. What I would love to see is Triple H turn on Shawn Michaels, John Cena taking out Triple H, and Michaels getting the victory. Or at least that’s what I would love to see.

Honestly, I can see this match being a joke. That’s been the buildup. And I don’t think that the WWE will make Triple H become a heel, and Shawn Michaels won’t get over as a heel. And how it seems like the office is in love with John Cena, so I can’t see them take the title off of him.

But I’ll go out on with this prediction…

Prediction: Shawn Michaels, walking out as the new WWE Champion.

Batista versus Rey Mysterio

The one and only, one-on-one match on the card. And sadly enough, Mysterio needs to take time off because he messed up and knee. But a match that I actually enjoy the story behind the match. And two guys that people thought we’ll never see, is Batista and Mysterio.

But because of the whole Mysterio’s bummed knee thing, I really can’t see this match go too long, and it not going too long, I really don’t want to take much time and talk about it.

Prediction: Batista, because of Mysterio’s bummed knee, and his steroids.

Conclusion

To conclude the preview of Survivor Series, I do hope that next year’s Survivor Series would have more of the traditional Survivor Series matches, so I am happy that at least half the card’s the traditional matches. But for the main events, it’s kind of sad that they both are the same because the WWE couldn’t think of anything better.
