John Cena starts the show off by saying he agrees with everyone else, and he’s disgusted by what happened at Summerslam. He says he told Daniel Bryan he had to earn a win and he did, so he wants to thank Bryan for bringing the best out in him. Cena says they don’t see eye-to-eye but he and Bryan live to compete, and he went into a match knowing the WWE doctors told him to get surgery and stay home. Cena mentions the large mass on his arm, and he says it’s due to a torn triceps a few weeks ago, but he’s not using it as an excuse. Stephanie talks down to Bryan and says he might not be an A, but he’s a B+… a solid B+. Bryan says she is reminding him of a word that starts with the letter B right now. A “bitch” chant barely starts up from the crowd. Bryan says he doesn’t have to accept what happened and just move on. Bryan says he can be WWE Champion and he doesn’t care what Stephanie thinks. She suggests he calms down and he knocks the microphone out of his hand. She asks for another. Stephanie gets upset and tells Bryan to calm down. She refuses to be disrespected by him and calls for security. Stephanie says Bryan is forcing her hand. She asks security to escort Bryan out of the building. 3 Things that I Liked:
- John Cena away for 4-6 months. I don’t think that Cena ever got more cheers then when he said he was leaving! I don’t wish injury on anyone even on someone I hate like John Cena. But I think these 4-6 months will be a great new fresh of air. I think he’s great at what he does but his character needs some tweaking and maybe after this time he’ll make the change. Until then I’ll be a real happy man covering Monday Night Raw without Cena. Get well soon Cena.
- Dolph Ziggler. I can see his character changing into this badass rebel. He isn’t going to pull any punches and he’s going to say what he feels. He may not win the matches that he gets put into but this is a great change for his character. He will for sure put on great matches and he won’t need to be in the main event. I could see him in the rebel role and he can be an anti-authority figure. Much like we’ll be seeing from Daniel Bryan in the coming months.
- CM Punk-Paul Heyman. I am a big fan of the story that is unraveling between these two. And I was ecstatic to see that this program is going to continue. The promos between these two are groundbreaking material and the personal stories that are being told are second to none. I feel like this feud will continue until around October or around the new year. I feel like after this CM Punk needs to move on. I am a big fan of this and it’s a must watch every Monday Night or whatever show they are continuing it on. This could easily be the feud of the year and they haven’t ever had a match. Think about the last time that ever happen!
3 Things that I Hated:
- Summerslam rematches. If I ordered the PPV I would be pretty pissed off that I ordered the PPV and the next night on Raw I see the same matches. I get that some feuds aren’t over at whatever PPV it was and this is the way to continue their program. I just don’t think it makes people order their PPV’s. Why pay however much to pay for the PPV when you can watch the same matches the next night on Raw, in most cases.
- WWE insulting our intelligence. Are we to believe that Brad Maddox forgot that Triple H just pedigreed him last week? Why was Brad Maddox all smiles when he spoke about Triple H? Shouldn’t he be upset that he pedigreed him and embarrassed him? Or is it the case that Triple H has more stroke in the company and Brad Maddox feels like he should just suck it up and take the medicine. Why do they think we are stupid!?
- Zeb Colter. It’s the same thing week after week. People sneaking across our borders. He needs to bring some new material soon; people are sneaking across the border so they don’t have to hear from him again. I hate his character now and they need to lose him real quick!!
