WWE Money in the Bank Recap – Money in the Bank is a winner!

WWE Money in the Bank

Let’s face it WWE is the number one wrestling company in the world. That doesn’t mean they please the fans every time out. I can tell you this; the WWE Money in the Bank pay per view was a winner. This pay per view concept should definitely be put into WWE’s yearly schedule.

The Money in the Bank ladder match debuted at Wrestlemania 21 to rave reviews. This concept is probably the best the WWE has had in years. The match had only been contested at Wrestlemania until now. We as fans know that gimmick pay per views don’t always work but this one sure did. The added level of intrigue on whether a superstar was going to “cash in” his newly won title shot kept my attention, and that is just what happened last night. Kane cashed in his title shot and won the heavy weight title from a disheveled Rey Mysterio.

Beyond the “Money in the Bank” ladder matches the pay per view was close to perfect. Title matches like the Hart Dynasty vs. The Usos and of course the main event Sheamus vs. John Cena were very entertaining and well worth it. The Raw “Money in the Bank” ladder was a giant surprise as The Miz walked away victorious. This pay per view was well built up and has left me wanting to watch Raw on Monday Nights to see what might happen next. Speaking of next the “Nexus” of course showed up to ruin John Cena’s chances to recapture the WWE title from Sheamus.

I highly recommend any wrestling fan to order the replay of this event. If it were me I would record Raw on Monday and wait until I saw this pay per view before viewing it. If I had a rating system (which I don’t) I would have given the “Money in the bank” 4 out of 5stars.
