Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho Here are my choices on the best matches of each year this past decade.

Year 2000: WWE Championship Fatal Four Way Elimination Match from WrestleMania 2000
Triple H (WWE C) def. The Rock, Mick Foley, and the Big Show

Year 2001: WCW/WWE Championship Undisputed World Title Unification Match from Vengence
Chris Jericho (WCW C) def. Steve Austin (WWE C) to become Undisputed Champ

Year 2002: World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber from Survivor Series
Shawn Michaels def. Triple H (WHC), RVD, Kane, Booker T., and Chris Jericho.

Year 2003: WrestleMania XIX
Shawn Michaels def. Chris Jericho

Year 2004: WWE Championship Texas Bullrope Match at the Great American Bash
John “Bradshaw” Layfield def. Eddie Guerrero (WWE C)

Year 2005: WWE Championship I Quit Match at Judgment Day
John Cena (WWE C) def. John “Bradshaw” Layfield

Looking at it, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho appear the most in my list. Why? I am a fan of those who can actually wrestle. I am a fan of matches that stand of from others during the year. I believe these matches did just that. Hope you guys would sit down and write out and talk out what matches you guys thought were the best matches of the year.
