Without a doubt the biggest story heading into Week 4 is the Monday Night matchup of the Brett Favre lead Minnesota Vikings taking on his former team the Green Bay Packers. This is a matchup that most Green Bay Packers fans (including this Green Bay Packers fan) never thought would happen…EVER. Two retirements and two teams later the worst nightmare in Green Bay history is happening Monday Night.

Now this matchup doesn’t bare the same emotion that will happen in November when Favre leads the Vikings to Lambeau Field. But as soon as that purple #4 runs onto the field of the metrodome Monday night ever single Packers fans heart will be shattered by this selfish football player. At one time Brett Favre would have been the most glorified football player in Green Bay Packers history, a huge honor for this incredibly historic franchise. But for the time being it will take a while for #4 to gain the respect and admiration that this small town in America had for their beloved gunslinger.

Other big stories heading into Week 4 are the recent fall of the defending Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers as they head into their matchup with the San Diego Chargers this week. I’m sure Big Ben and Company want to head into Monday Night Raw as a .500 team and not a team that is 1-3 & in danger of being a Super Bowl flop.

Finally the Baltimore Ravens have their chance to show the entire Football world that they are for real this weekend as they take on the New England Patriots in the first true test this season. This game has big complications not only for the Ravens but for the Patriots as well as they try to show that this is the same team that dominated football back in 2007 (minus the Super Bowl). Whoever wins the game between the Ravens/Patriots will solidify themselves as one of the top three teams in all of the AFC for the time being.

Week 4 has many stories that we will be look at during the entire weekend. Like are the Broncos really that good of a team? Will Terrell Owens have a breakout game yet? Who is the better team right now the New Orleans Saints or the New York Jets?

Week 4 should be a lot of fun and answer a lot of questions football fans around the world will have as they sit on their sofa this Sunday afternoon.

And now onto my Week 4 predictions:

Bears over Lions
Bengals over Browns
Texans over Raiders
Colts over Seahawks
Titans over Jaguars
Giants over Chiefs
Ravens over Patriots
Buccanears over Redskins
Bills over Dolphins
Saints over Jets
Cowboys over Broncos
49ers over Rams
Steelers over Chargers
Packers over Vikings

Week 3 Record: 9-7

2009 Record: 31-16
