Even though we have about a month left for Halloween 2011, you should start planning your costumes now, lest all the good ones be sold out at your local costume shop.
If you want to be on top of the latest costume trends, I have scoured high and low to bring you the best idea for 2011. Hint: with the outpouring of recent comic book movies such as “Captain America”. “X-Men: First Class”, “Thor”, and the “Green Lantern”, dressing up as a comic book character will be a big hit.
Ladies, if you want to feel like a princess, take an example from Showtime and pick a nice medieval costume. If you’re blonde, adopt the persona of Lucrezia Borgia and if you’re brunette, you can be the sultry Kathryn Howard or the mysterious Anne Boleyn. The Anne Boleyn Files has a great selection of replica jewelry at an affordable price, and if you’re willing to splurge, they have fantastic hand-made costumes as well.

Happy shopping!
