WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 Deals and Screenshots

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010The new WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 video game is on the way! WWE superstars John Cena, Undertaker, Randy Orton, Edge and Rey Mysterio all featured on the cover. New game screen shots reveal the most detailed pro wrestling video game in gaming history. In addition to great graphics, the new game promises more customization than ever from users.

I have never played the previous games, but this game looks tremendous. The details of Randy Orton’s tattooed sleeve alone are impressive in their own right. I checked out 30 new WWE SmackDown vs. SmackDown 2010 screen shots and they just get better and better. The new rage of tattoos on WWE superstars certainly didn’t make it easy for game developers. In this case, they hit the nail on the head in all of the details of the game.

One of the highlights of the new edition of the game will be a revamped Create-A-Superstar mode. The look of the mode will be completely different. A nice addition will allow users to create new WWE wrestlers who are comparable with the WWE stars included in the game. The mode also creates a paint tool that allows users to go crazy and paint tattoos all over their new wrestlers.

This game may be quite possibly the only way to see a great WWE storyline. The game includes an improved WWE Story Designer option. The press release promises, “A brand new cut scene creation interface includes talent and location selections, script writing, camera angles, Superstar emotions and much more.” Maybe the current WWE writers can take some notes and ideas from gamer created storylines. It can’t be much worse than Cedric the Entertainer hosting WWE RAW.

I think a new challenge would be to see how many WWE Diva phone numbers you can accumulate as a Guest Host. Well, there’s always next year.

Like UFC Undisputed and Fight Night 4, the game will also include a robust tutorial mode. The tutorial claims to offer over 100 tips. Users will be able to try out moves and then check them off once they have completed them. I found the tutorial in UFC Undisputed crucial to mastering the game. I would imagine the same will be said by RAW vs. SmackDown.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be available for Xbox 360 and PS 3 exclusively through GameStop and EB Games. WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will come with 60 WWE stars right out of the box. Austin is the only exclusive character not included in the game.
