Ric Flair Is A Real Man – Video

ricflairCheck out this video of the “Nature Boy” Ric Flair talking about his upcoming match in Australia with Hulk Hogan. Flair is in classic form as he cuts a promo on Hogan, his wife, his girlfriend, and more. There is something both great and extremely comical about this promo. I think Flair was the greatest, but seeing a 60-year old man in a furry robe talking about being a real man is just kind of funny to me.

I can’t imagine how bad this match is going to be. In a way, it is truly sad that it has come down to this for two of pro wrestling’s biggest stars. Could you imagine Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier cutting promos like this for a match in their sixties? I can understand not wanting to walk away, but there comes a time where just look absolutely ridiculous and this is one of them. The reality is that due to the financial situations of both men, these guys could be wrestling each other into their seventies!

By the way, maybe Flair should have mentioned something about his misinterpretation of his retirement match before Vince McMahon gave him the red carpet sendoff on WWE Raw.
