Popular Halloween Costumes for Kids

Every year, there is the ‘it’ Halloween costume for kids. Though it changes from year to year, there seems to be a few classic choices that remain. These popular choices can be seen at Halloween parties, on Halloween night and at school – from year to year.

Here are a few of the popular Halloween costumes for kids in 2011:

Princess Costumes

Princess costumes are a traditional choice for little girls. What little girl wouldn’t want to become a princess? Whether Ariel from the little Mermaid, or the popular Rapunzel costume from Tangled, the popular choice is going to remain that way this year with every one of the Disney princess costumes being available from retail stores, the Disney store and even through the popular online costume websites.

Simba

With the release of the Lion King in October for the first time in more than a decade children around the world are likely to be dressed in the popular lion costume. It’s a traditional choice of an animal costume, but also comes with the recognition of the popular movie. As an added bonus, these cozy costumes are perfect for those cool Halloween evenings of trick-or-treating.

Pirate Costumes

Pirate costumes are a popular choice year, after year. There are many options that are available for children to choose from, whether it’s a Captain Jack Sparrow Halloween costume or a similar Halloween costume for a pirate. The options are endless for design and accessories and costumes are available for toddlers, all the way through teens.

Learning about the popular Halloween costumes can be simple. Have a look through the local retail stores to determine which costumes are available, and which have sold out quickest. Have a look through the popular costume stores online to determine which costumes are the best-sellers, this way, parents can choose a popular costume for their child.
