Here it is, the infamous Baba Booey pitch from this weekend’s New York Mets game. Producer of the Howard Stern Show, Gary Dell’Abate’s opening pitch was a topic of discussion all of last week. Gary had been stressed out about throwing the opening pitch. Well just like his darling New York Mets, Baba Booey choked.
I think the funniest part of the story is how the clip made it to television. Gary was hosting Autism Awareness Night. Gary sat in the radio booth for a radio interview when the announcers began breaking Gary’s stones about the pitch. Normally the pitch would have never aired on television. Unfortunately for Gary, the announcers decided otherwise.
