The UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has some advice for his next challenger, Quinton Rampage Jackson. Bones cut a humorous PSA today and offers Rampage some friendly advice about the right and wrong time to motorboat.
The incident caused mass hysteria in the MMA community and continued to make headlines after comments Joe Rogan made about a reporter who blasted Jackson for the incident. It should be noted that MMA H.E.A.T. reporter Karyn Bryant said she wasn’t offended by Jackson at all and brushed it off as joking around. Even still, many in the MMA media called on the UFC to punish Jackson. Instead, the UFC awarded Jackson with a title shot against Bones Jones.
Bones Jones confirmed recently that he and Rampage have verbally committed to the fight. Bones also told a reporter that the fight will take place in September, presumably at UFC 135. Jackson has been fairly complimentary of Bones, but that may change after today. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see or hear Jackson respond to the champion in the near future.
Oh and take a guess at who recorded and uploaded the Jones PSA to You Tube. None other than MMA H.E.A.T. reporter Karyn Bryant and her husband were the two responsible for producing the PSA. Well played MMA H.E.A.T., well played.
