Daredevil Season 4: Reboot Series Coming Soon to MCU

We might be getting a soft reboot of Daredevil in the MCU.

With the recent entry of the Marvel TV shows in Disney+ that were taken off from Netflix and the latest cameo of Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, all signs are pointing towards a continuation of these TV shows or at the very least, the Daredevil series will be seeing something new soon.

Even the fans have been widely demanding a Daredevil project connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And it seems like our wishes might really have been heard because the studio has never let the fans down. Here are more details about a supposed Daredevil series in the works:

David Hayter Leaks the News

David Hayter, the actor most prominently known for his voice acting in Metal Gear reportedly leaked that a Daredevil series is in the works. While speaking with Small Screen at the MCM London Comic-Con a few months ago, Hayter was asked what MCU character would he like to adapt.

Hayter immediately mentioned that a Daredevil reboot is in the works and expressed his desire to be a part of the project. Back then, this news made the Daredevil fans very excited, and many speculations surfaced on the internet. However, as soon as the news started spreading, David ended up debunking his own rumor.

David took to Twitter and said: “Since this seems to be trending… No, I did not ‘confirm’ a Daredevil reboot. I mistakenly thought I’d read in the trades that it was happening, and I would love to see it. (And yes, I’d love to write it.) But I have no inside information whatsoever.”

A Daredevil Soft Reboot?

The signs towards a Daredevil reboot have increased ever since the Defenders and the other series came on Disney+. Quite recently, Murphy’s Multiverse claimed that a new business entity has been recently in contact with Marvel Studios and could be serving as a production company for Daredevil’s reboot.

The Scoopers also revealed that a new Disney-owned company Blind Faith Productions LLC was somehow involved with the Blind Superhero. Also, in the latest issue of Production Weekly, a listing with the name “Daredevil reboot” showed up which said that Kevin Fiege and Chris Gay are the show’s producers.

KC Walsh, a former GWW Editor-in-chief reportedly said that the Daredevil show might begin filming before 2023 anyhow which means that the Defenders might make a return to the MCU by 2024.

As for the new series for Daredevil, Charlie Cox claimed that he wished that MCU’s Daredevil should be a soft reboot. The Defenders and their series are now streaming on Disney+.
