Daniel Bryan’s Revenge and the 3 WWE Questions to be Answered on Raw

Oh, the soap opera keeps getting better. There are a few things we learned from Friday night’s WWE SmackDown.

First, Big Show will be the first to cross the line and beat the living hell out of the new Corporation.

Second, there is no such thing as an iron clad contract anymore in the WWE.

[adinserter block=”1″]Third, Dolph Ziggler getting beaten by The Shield only makes him more of face in the company.

Fourth, Monday figures to be Daniel Bryan’s turn to answer Randy Orton’s message from Friday night. It may not be in spray paint, but the message will be received just as loud and just significant.

Welcome to the game of “point and counterpoint.”

The WWE is doing a fine job of bringing out the best in Daniel Bryan, The Shield, Ziggler, Big Show (to an extent) and Triple H. Everything is alive and well in the company.

Watching the spray painting of Bryan by Orton after Bryan ruined the Escalade last week, it is only getting better. I had flashbacks of the nWo spray painting its opponents in WCW and attacking Steve Austin and then spray painting him.

And to think there are other feuds and questions to be answered Monday night. Here are few things things that need to be considered.

What will Paul Heyman and CM Punk have to say this week?

While we are waiting for the answers to questions concerning Orton and Bryan, this is beginning to really take shape between Heyman, Punk and the Intercontinental Champion, Curtis Axel.

While I was not a fan of this a few weeks ago, seeing the ungluing of both wrestlers in some respects has made this must see television.

The angle also shows that Alex is getting better on the microphone and he is more comfortable telling the world and CM Punk just how good he is. His in ring work is solid and getting better.

Axel’s father Curt Hennig was great at using his words and then using his ability to show off his greatness. If Axel can do that on a continual basis, then the WWE has hit gold.

And to wait for a reply from the “prodigal son,” CM Punk is just masterful.

Point and counterpoint here as well.

Will Big Show cross the line?

Will Dolph Ziggler join him? Much has been made over the Internet how Ziggler must play second fiddle to Orton and how he feels about the direction of the company. Wasn’t this a former World Champion two months ago? Seriously?

Show and Ziggler will lead the charge with Bryan vs. The Shield and Orton. It will lead to a six-man tag match (of course) and then lead to bigger things for Night of Champions. With only 13 days until the pay-per-view, the WWE had better act fast to bring this full circle.

If not, the entire feud and angle can blow up in everyone’s face and that would be a huge disruption.

Which Diva will step up?

I hope it is Natalya, but who knows. Please do not let it be the Bellas. Does anyone know if Kharma or Eve is available? This is where the WWE cannot afford to mess things up. It hirt gold with the “shoot interview” by AJ Lee last week. Didn’t it seem like CM Punk was feeding her the lines? It was beautiful.

Now, someone from the back needs to come forward and challenge the brunette trouble maker. I think Natalya makes the most sense, but it could be anyone of the members of the cast of Total Divas.

  1. The WWE needs some new blood, I'm bored with the same players scorning each other weekly.
Even the Diva's especially AJ & the Bela"s are boring with their stupid punch lines & dances – where did they get the new black girls who havn't a clue about acting or wrestling, most prance & swagger around like models with stupid grins on their face.
We need new wrestlers & new divas who look & play the part for this to be entertaining on a weekly basis.

  2. I agree with Natalya being the one the needs to step up and take on Aj. She is pretty good on the mat and I am not sure if the fans would buy any of the current Diva's being any real competition. I think her promo last week put her clearly at the top of the pile, I am not sure where the WWE can go with that. They need to find a diva that can match her mic skills or get "karma" back in here that way someone doens't need to talk.

  3. Freedom of speech is a good thing. One of the things I learned after I had kids was that different parents are concerned with different "things." I don't have much of an issue with my 6 year old watching some WWE television, I just make him leave or change the channel when the Diva's come on. Based on her personality, I probably won't let my 3 year old daughter watch for several more years beucase she is the one who will put the baby through the table. Anyway, I appreciate Kim's opinion but she should have seen the attitutde era.

  4. Kim you are right on about the bullying. It is definitely not the sort of message for young folks to see. I would like to see an end to the "soap opera" and some good wrestling each time rather than this crap they think is good for business, We know it is not real but at least make it appear that way. Let us face it is is entertainment and they can all count their money at the end of the show.

  5. I don't get it. Friday night I saw three men hold a smaller man up for a fourth man to beat him to a pulp. This is wrestling? This is shown on TV by an organization that is heavily advertising that they are against bullying? To me it looked liked bullying at it's ugliest.

In the above article it says this is a "soap opera", and the author can't wait to see how it finishes. I don't think you watched the same show I did. This isn't a family show. I"m not even sure it's an adult show any more.

I know, I don't have to watch it, I can turn the TV off. Well, for me WWE finally crossed the line and I am going to turn off the TV tonight. I'm even going to read a book. I suggest the rest of you do the same. The WWE might learn then who the real "boss" is.
