The Wyatt Family, which consists of Braun Strowman, Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt, have been featured in several tag team and 6 man tag team matches as of late. Since the WWE has been trying to boost the profile of its tag team division, why not add the Wyatt Family into the mix?
By adding a third member into the Wyatt Family stable, it could catapult Bray Wyatt as a singles competitor while pushing Strowman and Harper into the tag team division. The WWE has already shown that they are willing to boost the profile of their tag team division, by bringing back the legendary Dudley Boyz. What better way to boost the tag team division than to add Luke Harper and Braun Strowman into the mix.
The Wyatt Family Is Getting a Push
The creepy intro and outros that are attached to the Wyatt family promos only add to the mystique of the characters. Braun Strowman’s size and demeanor play into his character well. Some wrestling fans believe that Strowman has the “It factor,” which could result in him having a rather lengthy career in the WWE. Strowman hasn’t exactly proven himself yet, although many wrestling fans will agree that Strowman appears to be unstoppable with no wrestlers currently giving him any type of competition in the ring.
The Wyatt family seems to be getting a push, considering their recent match at Night of Champions against three competitors that regularly headline pay per view events. What better way to do this than to add the mammoth Braun Strowman into the family, while giving Bray Wyatt a singles push. Wyatt’s biggest rivalry to date was when he summoned the Undertaker back to the WWE for a match. Since then, it seems like the Wyatts have been looking for ways to get back into the WWE spotlight. The move to give Bray Wyatt a push makes sense because the WWE can evaluate Strowman as a tag team competitor while portraying Bray Wyatt as the cornerstone of the family.
Could Strowman and Harper Set Their Sights on The New Day?
When competitors look to make an impact on the WWE universe, it is important that they do so in a manner that resonates with the fans. One of the best ways that the WWE can push the Wyatts is to pit them against the current WWE Tag Team Champions, The New Day.
Think about it: What other sports entertainment event allows you to see large men that look like they’re cast straight out a horror film fight two other men who look like they’re leaders of their college’s pep band? If the Wyatts feel like they need to make a statement in the WWE, they had better try to win championship gold in order to be taken seriously back in the locker room.
