Brock Lesnar is back! The former UFC and WWE world champion returned to Monday Night RAW in style by laying out Vince McMahon to cap off one of the most entertaining RAW segments in recent memory.
Fresh off of agreeing on a new deal, Lesnar returned for the next chapter in his WWE run on Monday night in Las Vegas. Lesnar returned as part of a segment which saw Vince McMahon give Paul Heyman a performance review. On a side note, Heyman was out of this world in the segment. Just as Vince was about to fire Heyman, the Next Big Thing returned.
Lesnar’s music hit and he walked down the aisle to confront McMahon. Heyman begged Lesnar to retreat as he entered the ring, telling Lesnar he had it under control. Lesnar contemplated but instead sent Heyman to the corner. Lesnar than confronted McMahon nose-to-nose before laying out Vince with an F-5 to close out RAW.
WWE.com furthered the angle with this report’ “WWE.com sources indicate that Mr. McMahon suffered a broken pelvis as the result of Brock Lesnar’s surprise attack at the conclusion of Monday night’s Raw.”
The story on WWE.com also has a video of Vince being stretchered out of the ring by EMTs. Vince’s daughter Stephanie McMahon is seen crying in the video as she walks with Vince to the ambulance.
I can’t recall the WWE being this loaded up with star power in years. Monday Night RAW and WrestleMania will have Lesnar, The Rock, John Cena, Chris Jericho, and Triple H all on the same shows and cards. If this WrestleMania doesn’t do record business I don’t know if the WWE will ever break the records set last year by WrestleMania 28.
