Bret Hart Calls Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff Worthless

Bret Hart is either building up a secretly booked grudge match with Hulk Hogan or he is doing his best to come off as a bitter, ex-Hogan colleague. Hart continued his verbal assault on Hogan recently, launching an attack against him, Eric Bischoff, and TNA Wrestling.

[adinserter block=”1″]Bret Hart is like the gift that keeps on giving to pro wrestling bloggers. Hart never gets tired of hearing himself speak and has spent a good amount of time with the media recently. For some reason or another Hulk Hogan’s name keeps coming up and Bret has not been shy about publicly expressing his disgust with the Hulkster.

Hart recently sat down with WrestleTalk TV and was asked about Hogan, Bischoff, and TNA Wrestling. In typical Hart fashion, he took the opportunity to rip them and a company says he enjoyed before Hogan arrived.

I’ve got no faith in either one of them,” Hart said. “If anything, they’re [TNA] going to lose a lot of ground. They’re spending a fortune on a guy who’s worthless. And Bischoff’s as worthless as Hogan, the two of them have zero to offer the business.

The only thing Hulk Hogan ever knew was how to make Hulk Hogan. He couldn’t tell you how to make AJ Styles or Samoa Joe. What’s Hulk Hogan going to tell Samoa Joe? He doesn’t know anything to even tell him, he’s got zero to offer

What does Hulk Hogan have to offer Samoa Joe? He and Bischoff are worthless. I am not a huge fan of Hogan and Bischoff but I will admit that television has been much better since they hired Bruce Pritchard. Whether it is all due to Bruce or not, it is under Hogan and Bischoff’s watch. Like Hulk or not I think he can certainly offer up some advice considering he is one of the most successful wrestlers in the history of the business.

to this on Twitter after a fan tweeted him a question about it.

feel bad for Brett he sends out the old, bitter, tired vibe,hopefully he will have a happy life from this point forward HH

[adinserter block=”2″]I have never understood Hart’s intense hatred towards Hogan and even Bischoff. The both of them were responsible for signing Bret to the biggest contract he ever signed in pro wrestling. Was he used properly? No, but he still got paid. At some point even Bret’s fans are going to get a little tired of these childish rants.

  1. Seems I was a couple of weeks late with my “whiny response from Bret in 10, 9, 8 … ” previous post, but you just KNEW that it was coming. I’ve noticed over the years that retired guys – wrestlers especially – love to denigrate current talent. Zbyszko bashing Jericho recently comes to mind, although Jericho has more wrestling talent in his thumb that Zbyszko had in his body. But Bret is a special case; is there any high profile guy out there that he hasn’t taken a shot at? He clearly hates Hogan and Flair, and while he could outwrestle either guy, he wasn’t in the same league with either when it came to charisma or the all important “putting butts in the seats” category. Bret seems to labor under the delusion that pro wrestling is real and that the ability to actually wrestle is somehow paramount in assessing the value of any particular individual. It’s not. In fact, it hardly matters at all. The ability to connect with fans – marks or smarks – is all that matters, in that it ultimately translates to attendance figures, TV ratings and merchandise sales. In a contest where the outcome is preordained, technical proficiency is meaningless. The ability to relate to the fans, to draw them inside the match or the ongoing script, is what makes one guy Hulk Hogan and the other guy Bret Hart.

    • Hogan had no charisma { If you call putting your hand to your ear, and almost begging people to cheer for you charisma, that's a joke as well as Hogan was a joke }
