“Beat The Shark NFL Pick ‘Ems” – A Chance For Redemption!

Beat the Shark contest Hello friends, readers, and fellow football fans! Yes despite the whooping I took last week at the hands of Denise St. John, I am back with a whole new round of “Beat The Shark”

This week a new lovely female reader has decided to challenge me in picking 4 games from this weeks NFL schedule. Last week “The Shark” had a horrible outing as I finished just 1-3 for the day, while my opponent finished 3-1. So I had to get serious, stop being shmoozed by pretty faces and get back to basics.

So this week I do a neat little New York/Philly rival thing with Karyn Albanese. Karyn is a HUGE New York Jets fan ( as you will tell by her picture, dressed in her Jets top) and has taken several liberties in informing me about their success in the early going. After last weeks win over the Patriots, Karyn kindly messaged me and said “You better recognize that the Jets are in this thing”. Well they sure are! Does Karyn have the moxy to use the Jets in her attempt to “Beat The Shark”? Does “The Shark” have the guts to go against the Jets again? All very interesting questions, and you will see the answers in a moment. First i’d like to once again remind all readers to view the pictures of the contestants each week and remember them. At the end of the season I will ask all of you to vote for your favorite to be named “Miss Beat The Shark”, a very high honor indeed! Ok with all that said here are the picks:

Karyn has chosen

EAGLES -3 vs Chiefs

TEXANS -4 vs Jaguars

and of course (drum roll please)
NEW YORK JETS -3.5 vs Titans

“The Shark” will select

Steelers -4 at BENGALS

DENVER +2 at Oakland

PATRIOTS -4 vs Falcons

and just because i’m that nice of a guy (this is for you Karyn)
Titans +3.5 at NEW YORK JETS

Ok so I will once again go head up against her Jets, it;s got to give eventually right? Don’t forget to join me here every Friday for another installment of “Beat The Shark” and remember to check for my Fantasy Football “Flash and Crash” segments every Thursday.
I’d like to wish Karyn good luck, this week i’m going to be humble and say I need it!
