This incredible Batman suit, outfitted with 23 functioning gadgets, has earned its creator a spot in the Guinness World Record Books for the “most functional gadgets on a cos-play suit.”
Created by special creature effects expert Julian Checkley, the ingenious gadgets are concealed and attached to the suit. The record-setting suit, modeled after Bruce Wayne’s outfit from the Batman: Arkham Origins video game, was 3D printed then moulded and cast in a flexible urethane rubber.
The Batsuit devices include “smoke bombs, a grapnel gun and ‘bat tracker’, UV lamp, NBC (nuclear, bacterial, chemical) bat respirator and even a bat sign projector for the night sky.”
The innovative creation appears in the new Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2017, out on September 8th.
