3 Reasons the Shield Could Reunite in the WWE

With Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns looking more cohesive than ever, it’s entirely possible that the trio could reunite. Here’s three reasons why the Shield could reunite for good now that WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay per view is over.

The WWE Will Give the Fans What They Want

[adinserter block=”1″]The Shield received one of the biggest pops from WWE fans at the end of last week’s Raw. It was arguably one of the loudest pops that Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins had received in weeks.

Fans clearly like seeing the Shield together. The WWE has teased fans with a Shield reunion in the past. If the WWE keeps teasing, the appeal of the reunion will fade.

That’s a solid reason for the Shield reunite after Hell in a Cell. Given the complexity of the Kane situation, emboldened by the fact that the Authority has alienated Seth Rollins, it appears that Seth Rollins will need to have someone protecting his back going forward in the WWE.

What better way to put Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose back into the top storylines of the WWE by having them reunite with Rollins and once again become the dominant faction of the WWE?

Shield vs. Authority Makes Too Much Sense

Triple H’s patronization of Seth Rollins over the past few months has visibility gotten under the skin of Seth Rollins.

Although Rollins has answered every challenge that the Authority has put in front of him, Seth Rollins doesn’t seem to appreciate being given a hard time by Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Seth Rollins no longer has the services of J & J Security, making him a lone wolf of sorts if his alliance with the Authority were to crumble.

Having the Shield be taken to task by the Authority would make a great storyline. It’s entirely possible that a confrontation could happen between the two factions.

Wyatt Family Could Force a Shield Reunion

The Shield being paraded as a face group could help bring Dean Ambrose back into the spotlight, allow Roman Reigns to stand in the background and give Seth Rollins the ultimate spotlight as being the mouthpiece for the group.

With stables such as the Wyatt family looking for championship gold, Seth Rollins and the Shield may reform out of sheer necessity to deflect the attacks of Braun Strowman, Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt.

[adinserter block=”2″]Bray Wyatt and company have shown that they willing and able to decimate anyone who aligns with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. In a recent confrontation, Ambrose and Randy Orton expressed concerns with one another about having to team up. Orton was attacked by the Wyatt family and put out of commission.

Could the Wyatts target Seth Rollins following Hell in a Cell since he helped out Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in a recent 6 man tag match? More importantly, would this force a much anticipated Shield reunion?
