John Cena Vs. Dolph Ziggler Ladder Match Set For WWE TLC 2012
The big news coming out of this past Monday Night RAW is the addition of a big match to WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2012. With a little help from Vince McMahon, Vickie Guerrero announced John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Ladder Match with Dolph’s Money in the Bank briefcase at stake.
So the match is now official for TLC 2012 between Ziggler and Cena with the briefcase at stake. Mind you, Cena won the RAW MITB but failed to cash in against Punk on the 1000th RAW episode. Ziggler has yet to cash in his briefcase, although he has teased it a few times. The winner will leave TLC with a contract for a match with the WWE world heavyweight champion.
In Ziggler’s case, he didn’t willingly put the briefcase up. Vickie did. That is a big difference from the situation that went down with James Storm where Storm looked like an idiot for putting up and losing his title shot. One question though that hasn’t been answered and it could turn into a major angle is this.
Why doesn’t Ziggler just cash in the briefcase before TLC?
I am blogging about this on Tuesday morning so that could happen. I think it would be a great twist to see Sheamus beat Show tonight at the SmackDown taping and then lose right away to Ziggler. Vince could always order that the title will now be at stake in the match (Hey it isn’t as if any of this makes much sense to begin with). I just can’t think of any logical reason why Ziggler and Vickie’s characters wouldn’t cash in before TLC to make sure they get their title shot.
Regardless I am sure it will be a real fun match to watch and I am curious to see how the scenario plays out through TLC.
