Guitar Hero 5 Full Import Song List

September 04, 2009 By: Category: Video Games

guitarhero5Guitar Hero 5 was released earlier this week with 85 songs. This is the third Guitar Hero game released in 2009. Unlike previous GH games, Activision has now allowed users to import songs from older Guitar Hero games into the GH5. Here is the full list of import-friendly Guitar Hero 5 songs.

I never had a beef with Guitar Hero about this until Rock Band offered this function with Rock Band 2. It has now gotten to the point where Guitar Hero releases 2-3 versions a year. Some are better than others and it was a disappointment to jump from one and leave your old songs behind. Finally, Activision has solved that problem.

There is a small nominal fee for this. I mean you couldn’t expect to pay for a song just once right? It will cost you $3.50. It is cheaper than the Rock Band fee, however not all songs are available for import. The good news is that the list includes songs from both Guitar Hero 4 World Tour and Guitar Hero Smash Hits.

Available songs for import from Guitar Hero 4: World Tour songs:
“No Sleep Till Brooklyn” – Beastie Boys
“Dammit” – Blink-182
